Movers

Don't ever use North America Transfer movers - they charged us extra, tried to hold our stuff hostage and were generally unreasonable jerks. Fortunately, they did eventually succumb to my screaming at them over the phone and delivered our belongings yesterday. We have set up most of the furniture where we want it and unpacked most of our boxes. The dining room table and hutch from Jim's grandma and grandpa fit perfectly in our dining room and look great - I can't wait to put the china from Jim's grandma into the hutch! (Pictures to come later)

We still feel pretty weird about being here. I said yesterday that it doesn't feel like we are living in Idaho so much as it feels like we are living in "Not Oregon." Last night we went to a restaurant in our neighborhood that has floating docks on the lake that you can sit on while you eat. With the weather being hot, the scenery being desert-y and the DJ from a local radio station drawing names for prizes (I won a martini but I made Jim go get it for me), it was reminiscent of living in California. On the other hand, there is definitely a small town vibe. More later.
